JUNE ON JEFFERSON- SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Thanks to everyone that came out for Jazzin’ on Jefferson last weekend. The fun continues with more events. The POP-UP shops will be open on Fridays and Saturdays until July 6. Coffee and (…) will continue to be open during the week, and Goodwells Natural Market and River’s Edge Gallery-East will also open their doors for special weekday programming

Experience the uniqe food stylyings of Jonathan Kung, who brings the influences of his native Hong Kong and a passion for food and authentic flavors to Detroit.
Friday 6/28, 5-8 p.m. – Chalmers Square Ribbon Cutting/Reception
Saturday 6/29, Noon-3 p.m. – JEBA hosts Kids Activities (Sidewalk art, African drumming, performance by Lottie and he Manatee), location at the outdoor Space on the north side of Jefferson. Bring the family for an afternoon of fun!
Saturday 6/29, noon-4 p.m. – Rowe Niodior African Dance Company and Sidewalk Performing Arts – Outdoor Space on the north side of Jefferson.
Saturday, 6/29, 4 – 8 p.m. - AIAD Biergarten, The American Institute of Architecture, Detroit Chapter, will be hosting a Biergarten to celebrate the great efforts of the design teams. Outdoor Space on the north side of Jefferson.

Sunday, 6/30, 2-4 p.m. Boggs School, [Community Conversation] It takes a village: parents,schools and community. All ages welcome. How do parents want to be involved in their children’s learning? How can the Boggs School provide a welcoming environment for parents? What would parents like their role to be in developing and supporting a school?
(Not all shops will be open, special sunday event).
